BADARPUR/FARIDABAD: A 22-year-old MBA student of Rai Business School, Badarpur, allegedly committed suicide in his hostel room on Monday. His body was discovered by his roommates.
Deceased Karan Singh, the son of a retired naval employee, hailed from Palampur and had been living in the Meadows hostel in Faridabad along with two other students.

He was sleeping when the other two left.
On their return, Singh's friends knocked on the door which was bolted from inside but got no response.
They then called the security guard and the three broke open the door only to find Karan hanging.
His friends then brought down the body and took him to Sarvodaya Hospital, Faridabad where he was declared brought dead.
Meanwhile, Soumendu added that Karan had been depressed over the past few days and had even refused to eat breakfast the day before. "I told him to cheer up and asked him why he was depressed but he did not say anything," Soumendu said.
The incident has come as a shock for the other inmates of the hostel, all of whom are students of the same business school.
